Chief Justice Hon. Mde. Louise Esther Blenman's role enlarged to cover both The High Court and The Court of Appeal. Chief Justice Blenman is the First Chief Justice of Belize to sit in both courts, as a consequence of the recent enactment of the Senior Courts Act. She was sworn in by Governor General Her Excellency Dame Froyla Tzalam on 22nd November 2022.
